'If I create from the heart, nearly everything works. If from the head, almost nothing.'
- Marc Chagall
Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit more about me.
I have been drawing since I was little and was always a dreamy person. I was hopeless at math but I loved to learn languages, draw and read :).
Because of circumstances (long story, I will maybe write some more about that some time), I had time to pick up drawing on an intensive basis around the end of 2011. And since then, gradually, a strong interest in illustrating developed. I started learning by looking at work of inspiring artists and illustrators, followed many drawing and illustrating classes and practiced and drew a lot. I also had to learn digital skills, like working with Photoshop. I was frustrated many times because what I had in mind didn't come out of my pencil yet, but gradually, I started to get better and learn more. At this moment, when I'm writing this, it's March 2016. Four years passed and I think I'm confident enough now to say I am a self-taught illustrator and artist. And I am proud of it and a very happy person because I'm following my heart and curiosity! As I mentioned, I do owe a lot to the many inspiring people I learned from. I followed drawing lessons from Ailisha Read. And these are, only a few of the many, artists, illustrators and some of them also friends, that inspired me, and still do ;

I hope to be able to continue learning, drawing and creating beautiful stuff as long as I live.
